Awakening

There are a few ways to awaken that fit within the guidelines. The two main ones are 'A waking dream' & Astral Projection.

In a waking dream the real world is overlaid with the 'dream' in these dreams you have to make your way through a series of events until you reach your 'tower' which can take a variety of forms and you write your name on it, recording it forever in the Supernal Realms and you gain the ability to peek beyond the veil.

Astral Projection is true dreaming, a full experience of the Supernal Realms via the mind, strange creatures and sensations, it feels like you're really there, usually reserved for those who are resistant to the awakening.

A more obscure way is to have fallen through the abyss and made it back...This CANNOT have been done with you retaining your sanity, this doesn't mean you have to be totally coo-coo for coco-puffs but you can't be sane if this is a chosen path of awakening. The Supernal Realms make The Twisted Versions Of Wonderland look like a walk among daisy's. We're only going to allow a few witches to have taken this path because the insanity makes the witch more likely to break the veil.

The awakening doesn't usually happen until around the age of 18 unless there is extenuating circumstances. There is rumors of young children being forced to awaken but they are damaged in some way, be it a developmental disorder, physical disfigurements, loss of at least one of the five senses, etc.
