Vampire Roles

The main vampire roles and their current members at Dark Radiance are listed below.  The vampire lead (found on the staff page is responsible for assigning all vampire roles. Please talk to the vampire lead if there are other roles that you would like to see.
  
  • Prince - currently filled, this is an NPC role.

All roles mentioned will need to be filled with active players who have good availability. Please do not accept a role if you know you will only be online once a week for couple hours. These roles are more than just a title, they are something that requires IC effort and OOC effort at times.  Those placed in these roles must be in Dark Radiance several times a week to help with roleplay, storylines, and be accessible to the players in their purview. 
Role Definitions:
  • Prince - The Prince is an NPC at Dark Radiance. They claim domain over all of London.
  • Seneschal - The prince's right-hand man (or woman). The seneschal directly serves the prince; the seneschal acts on the prince's behalf whenever the prince is indisposed or away.
  • Sherrif  - A Sherrif is the Prince's and Senschal's eyes and ears of the Kindred, responsible for the physical enforcement of Princely decree. Some Sherrifs are diligent masters-at-arms while others are brutes who abuse their position.
  • ​Keeper of Elysium - Keeper is a largely honorific title, though it has many practical responsibilities. The Keeper of Elysium assures that the customs of Elysium are observed, and is a caretaker of sites declared Elysium by the Prince.   It is the Keeper who may schedule or cancel any events, a position that involves both great prestige and scrutiny.
  • Primogen (Clan leaders) - Are the representatives and voice of their clans in city affairs to the Seneschal. They are the leaders for each bloodline / clan.
