Groups
To rez objects in the Dark Radiance regions, you must belong to the "Digit's Family" group. This is a private group by invitation only, it costs nothing to join and there are no group fees for normal renters. You will be sent an invitation to this group after you have paid for your rental. Please hide this group in your profile by un-checking the "Show in my profile" option. The "Digit's Family" group is for obtaining rez rights for the Dark Radiance areas only, it is not for roleplay discussions of any sort or for contacting Dark Radiance staff. There is a group for roleplay discussion and announcements specific to Dark Radiance, see the Dark Radiance group. You should receive an invitation to this group when you visit Dark Radiance. Prim Limits There are specific prim / land impact limits for each rental. Please note this BEFORE renting. Do not exceed the limit for your rental, the Dark Radiance Staff members will periodically check prim counts and return items when over prim limits. There is a prim count board in the landing area on Dark Radiance I and another in the region office cabin on Dark Radiance II, so you can always check your own prim counts. Repeated violation of prim limits can result in cancellation of rentals and possible banning from Dark Radiance regions. If for some reason you need a larger allocation of prims, it may be possible to arrange this with the Dark Radiance staff. Script Limits There will be script limits. If you have any poorly scripted objects you will be asked to remove them. Due to the nature of Second Life™ it is impossible to define strict guidelines for scripts, however scripts that consume excessive time or memory are generally not allowed. The Dark Radiance staff will deal with scripting violations on a case by case basis. Renting Once you have talked to the Dark Radiance staff about your rental, pay the rental box the the amount of time you wish to rent. After the initial payment to the rental box, you will need to pay your rent from the Dark Radiance Office located at the main landing point. See: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Benangatron/146/128/998 Alt Avatars. If you want one or more of your "Alts" to have rez rights for your rental contact the Dark Radiance staff. In most cases your Alt will receive an invitation to the land group, but be sure your Alt will also be an active RP player at Dark Radiance. Your Alt's identity will be kept in strict confidence. Hiding groups in
Your Second Life Profile is very easy to hide a specific group
in your profile so when another avatar views your profile that
group is not displayed. As mentioned earlier, it is
recommended that the "Digit's Family" group be hidden in your
profile. To hide a group in your Second Life Profile
